       Emilio, born in Belgium, developed a strong interest in violin making at the age of 14 when he visited Thomas Bertrand’s workshop in Brussels. The following year, he began a three-year apprenticeship under the guidance of renowned violist François Bodard. He graduated with distinction from the Newark School of Violin Making in the UK. After graduation, he worked for Stephan von Baehr in Paris and Berlin, where he studied and copied many exquisite works by master luthier Clermont. He is a rising star in the world of violin making.
